It's a lovely day for a giveaway!

It's such a lovely day, see, look how the sun is shining.
We've spread out a bit outside, packing some bits to go off to Cologne for the Handerbeit & Hobby Show (we're not exhibiting, but we're helping out 7 Islands as we are a little closer to Cologne than they are, being all the way over in California), although it is as nice indoors with our high ceilings as it is outdoors.
Anyway, in honour of it being a lovely day, here's a little giveaway: I have 3 of our Japanese Fabric Scrap Bags to give away - all you have to do is tell me what your favourite fabric is in our Japanese section on our website. And tell me what you would do with it, if it was yours.
And then I will pick 3 winners.
So, tell me what you think!

  1. I think my favourite (although it's a very hard choice!) is currently the Echino Birdsong panel in Aqua.

It would make an amazing skirt, but being as i'm not much of a skirt person i'd rather use it to make a large tote bag.

  2. That's like making me chose between my children!

But if I have to name the one I'd like to have right now, I'd say the Lightweight Echino Rondo Stripe in green; until it's naughty, then I'll chose another one!

  7. OK I got a bit carried away with the previous comment so I have composed myself and returned to try again..

My favourite Japanese fabric on your website has got to be the Echino Camera fabric, and with it I would make a super-awesome camera bag to carry my camera gear around in style!

    Thank you for the giveaway!!

  8. My absolute favourite Japanese fabric is easy = the lilac Echino Birdsong and I'd either make it into either a large shoulderbag or a top

  9. wonderful choice but would have to be the Echino quiet ground green. I adore the colours an details in the fabric. So many projects to do with it but what would win out would be a summer skirt with lots of lace and some bead work to bring it all together.

  10. I think I'd have to pick the Echino Story (Pink/Purple) and I'd make my daughter a summer dress with it

  11. For me it has to be the Echino natural panel cotton/linen blend with the zebras. My best friend in the world that I've known for years, is due her first baby after trying for ages, and this would make such a cute cot bumper set - still cute, but different enough and not too 'babyish'!

  16. Although I'm swayed by all the pretty bird fabrics, I LOVE Kokka robots. I think it'd make a lovely laptop cover for my boyfriend, to steer him away from his 'plain and black' mentality!

Let's hope the sunshine is here to stay :) Good luck in Cologne and thanks for the giveaway.
